Regional Sales Manager

Position Summary:

You are a dedicated Sales Professional looking to work in a dynamic technical sales environment. As a skilled professional you possess a solid understanding of the consultant sales process and are willing to travel 3-5 days per month. Previous experience in capital equipment sales coupled with strong communication and excellent computer skills are a must. You will provide clients with automation related equipment specifications and pricing, acting in an assigned territory. You will generate Sales Proposals of all levels in a timely manner, in response to internal or external requests. Produce revisions to Sales Proposals as required for pending sales or in response to amendments necessary to complete a pending sale. Your previous experience in penetrating new markets is a direct result of your self start approach to selling and relationship building.

Skill Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree or a Technologist Diploma, preferably in Mechanical.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct sales experience or a strong documented history of industrial automation sales experience.
  • Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Automation Specialist

Position Summary:

You are a self described problem solver with meticulous attention to detail and process. You will be responsible for the creation of electrical and control systems as well as performing site commission of StrongPoint solutions. You will attend service calls as required, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems, at times working in conjunction with internal and external customers to implement solutions. Previous experience with factory automation solutions is essential.

Responsibilities:
  • Installation, and troubleshooting of PLC hardware and software.
  • Assist in the implementation, upgrading and debugging of PLC software applications and robotic applications.
  • Test and troubleshoot variable speed AC drive systems.
  • Perform various troubleshooting and implementation of electrical equipment and circuits.
  • Interpret schematic diagrams and construct related circuits for automation equipment control applications.
  • Commissioning of equipment on site: including PLC, Robotics, HMI’s and other control components.
  • Set-up and diagnostics of industrial networks: ControlNet, DeviceNet and EtherNet.
  • Training of on-site personnel.
Skill Requirements:
  • A College Diploma in Electrical Technology or University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in PLC and Fanuc robotics.
  • Extensive PLC troubleshooting skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Allen Bradley – Rockwell Software: RSLogix 5, 500, 5000 and RSView32.

Mechanical Designer

Position Summary:

The Mechanical Designer may serve as a Project Manager and in this capacity is ultimately responsible for all aspects of project work, including detailed design, drawing and BOM creation and the meeting of project objectives and milestones. You will be responsible for reviewing time estimates and ensure designs are within budget pertaining to the mechanical design scope. You have previous experience designing custom robotic EOAT's and creating cell layouts. You have previous experience designing mattop and tabletop conveyor systems in a fast paced environment. You will liaise with interdepartmental representatives to ensure that your designs are in keeping with customer expectations and StrongPoint proposals. You have previous experience with pneumatic design and can apply your experience and knowledge to innovative new solutions. You are fully experienced with AutoCad and 3D parametric design software.

Skill Requirements:
  • A College Diploma in a Mechanical Discipline or a University Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the design of factory automation and conveyor systems.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving abilities.
  • AutoCad and 3D solid modeling experience is a must.
